This page provides a list of patches with fixes and improvements published after 1.1.1 release and before 1.1.2. To use the patches, you need to apply them to the 1.1.1 source code by decompressing and running

 patch -p0 < patchfilename

You can also get the source code from the Subversion repository, but remember to replace /branches/koffice/1.6/koffice/ pathname with /tags/koffice/1.6.1/koffice/ when you're issuing the svn commands. The patches are not compatible with 1.6.2-pre version which resides in /branches/koffice/1.6/koffice/ svn directory.

Note that the 1.1.2-pre has the patches applied anyway, and is in a stable state, so you can safely fetch it instead of 1.1.1.

A fix for Migration drivers

Migration drivers (for MySQL and PosgreSQL databases) are used in Tools->Import database menu command. The patch provides the following changes:

• fixed copying existing objects to the destination database
• MySQL and PostgreSQL: fixed importing static images if present in the source database (BLOBs)
• MySQL and PostgreSQL: data types are better handled for import

There are also startup-related issues fixed:

• do not recreate kexi__blobs internal table when connection is readonly
• projects created with older Kexi versions can be now opened in readonly mode too
